Starry Night

(This creation is a result of excessive free time in final semester of B.Tech :) )

I look up towards the night sky,
Stars shining bright.
Twinkles in the black sea
Accentuating the euphonious silence of the night.

It's a maze out there
Not less than life is.
Getting lost as one may call
But to success, a path there is
shown by the brightest of 'em all.

Countless,peppered in the sky
Want to pluck them
But they are so high.
Alike,but still so distinct
Light they reflect is one
Still some are bright,some dim.

Wonder what they whisper each night,
Are they friends are they foes
Do they love, do they fight
Are they bound ,are they loose
I guess, but it may not be right.
To quell my doubts,
They come back again each night.
Forgetting their differences,
They stand firm by each other's side,
Holding their positions as nights before
And will continue so for thousands more.

Time slips by,
As sun ceases to refrain
It's time to say goodbye,
But with a promise to meet again.
O , you raindrops on black umbrella
Evaporate, and go to sleep
as those wake up who missed your glory, asleep.
